What are Career Credits and how much do they cost?

Career Credits are YourJobFit's in-platform currency for AI features. New users receive 20 free credits on sign-up. A CV assessment costs 20 credits. An Autopilot application costs 30 credits. Credits are purchased in packages: Starter (100 CR), Professional (250 CR), Growth (600 CR), or Premium (1,500 CR). Payments are accepted via Paystack, Flutterwave, M-Pesa, and Stripe — in local currencies including NGN, KES, GHS, ZAR, USD, and GBP.

Terms of Service | YourJobFit

1. What YourJobFit Is

YourJobFit ("the Platform") is an AI-powered career operating system provided by YourJobFit Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"). The Platform benchmarks professional profiles against global hiring standards, identifies skill gaps, generates personalised learning content, and produces AI-assisted job application materials.

By creating an account or using any part of the Platform you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not create more than one account to circumvent credit limits or referral bonuses.

3. Career Credits

The Platform operates on a micro-transaction currency called "Career Credits" (CR). Credits are purchased through our payment processor (SolydFlow) or earned through referral and sign-up bonuses.

Credits are non-refundable once consumed by an AI action (e.g., CV analysis, Autopilot Apply, course generation).
Unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no AI actions have been performed in that session, subject to our refund policy.
We reserve the right to adjust credit costs for AI actions with 30 days' notice.
Credits have no monetary value outside the Platform and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Referral credits are issued only when the referred user completes their first AI assessment. Fraudulent referral activity will result in account termination and forfeiture of all credits.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All content produced by the Platform — including Global Standard Match Scores, skill gap analyses, roadmaps, rewritten CVs, cover letters, interview questions, and micro-course content — is generated by our Premium AI Engine and is provided for informational and self-improvement purposes only.

AI outputs are not professional career advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of employment outcomes.
Scores and gap analyses reflect model-level pattern matching against training data, not a definitive assessment of your professional worth or competence.
We do not warrant that following our roadmaps or submitting Autopilot applications will result in job offers, interviews, or career progression.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any AI-generated application materials. Do not submit content you have not personally reviewed.

5. Your CV and Profile Data

When you upload a CV or enter profile information, you grant YourJobFit a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that data solely to provide Platform services to you.

CV content is transmitted to our Premium AI Engine for analysis.
Raw CV files are not stored permanently. Structured extracted data (role, skills, scores) is stored to power your dashboard.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
You must not upload CVs or documents belonging to other people without their explicit consent.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Platform to:

Submit false or misleading CV data to inflate scores for fraudulent applications.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the Platform's AI outputs at scale.
Use automated tools (bots, scripts, AI agents) to create accounts, generate credits, or consume AI actions.
Resell, licence, or commercially distribute AI-generated content produced by the Platform.
Impersonate another person in application materials generated on the Platform.
Attempt to circumvent anti-cheat measures in the AI Examiner module.

7. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by SolydFlow and its underlying payment providers (Paystack, Flutterwave, M-Pesa, Stripe). All charges are in the currency displayed at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required.

Refund requests for unused credit packages must be submitted within 14 days of purchase to legal@yourjobfit.com. We will not refund credits that have been partially or fully consumed.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms other users or the Platform. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited. You may appeal termination decisions by contacting legal@yourjobfit.com within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YourJobFit's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the total credits purchased by you in the 90 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of employment opportunity, income, or data.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and an in-platform banner 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes are effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise. Nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights.
